IQS: Day twelve

Today has not been the greatest in terms of getting a healthy balance, this is mainly because we were not organised and didn’t really have any proper food in the house/defrosted from the freezer but it’s also because we’ve been running around like crazy people for the best part of the day and so haven’t really had time to think about food much! On the flip side this had it’s advantages as my mind was so pre-occupied with other things that it didn’t have a chance to think about how much it was missing sugar. Tomorrow is likely to be much the same although I am planning to try and prepare a better evening meal involving lots of vegetables. The best meal of the day today was breakfast as Molly was staying with her grandparent so we managed to have a bit of a relaxing treat before the chaos ensued.

Here’s what day twelve looked like…


2 slices of rye toast, 2 poached eggs, crispy bacon and asparagus.

1 mug of apple cyder vinegar

1 glass of coconut water



Chocolate porridge made with oats, cacao powder and peanut butter, topped with walnuts and pistachio nuts


Cauliflower rice, tarka dahl and chicken sag

Coconut water and fresh coconut


Organic Pukka Night time tea
